Dr. Persky grew up in Tampa, Florida. He spent most of his childhood playing soccer and spending time at the beach.After completing his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona for his medical education. Dr. Persky graduated from the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine with honors from the Pi Delta National Honor Society.Dr. Persky then completed a comprehensive three-year foot and ankle surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery which includes trauma and reconstruction with the use of internal and external fixation, limb salvage, arthritic conditions of the lower extremity, diabetic foot care, sports medicine, and elective foot and ankle surgery. During residency, Dr. Persky conducted research and was able to publish within the most respected journal in his medical specialty.He is now board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).Along with his wife and two children, Dr. Persky enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and bike riding, as well as trying new foods and restaurants.
